Sarah Easterbrook

Owner, Master Trainer and Behaviourist

Sarah is a fully qualified Dog Trainer and Behaviourist and she has been working with dogs for over 25 years, having started her journey at the National Animal Welfare Trust and then at The Dog’s Trust. She is accredited as ‘Master Trainer’ with the Guild of Dog Trainers (GoDT) and she has been a Professional Member of the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP) for over 10 years, affiliated with Cesar Millan, The Dog Whisperer. Sarah’s dogs Cookie, Puck and Teddy often help her with behavioural sessions. She is highly experienced with all breeds and all issues and has carried out over 5000 behaviour sessions to date. Sarah is based near Yeovil and covers much of Somerset and Dorset as well as parts of Devon. Sarah is also a qualified Cat & Parrot Behaviourist

Kimi rescued a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Tara, who had several behavioural issues which needed correcting. Thanks to Kimi’s hard work and dedication Tara now has been fully rehabilitated and works hard as a highly skilled Demo Dog for The Pet Experience. She also has taken on a 9 year old Ambull X Staffie who had a hard life being used as a puppy machine and suffering a stroke. At the age of 9 Maya had never even learnt a sit or been off lead. Kimi is enjoying training Maya and giving her a happy retirement. Kimi qualified with The Pet Experience as a Dog Trainer and Dog Behaviourist and has since attained vast experience both running classes, training puppies and working with difficult behaviour cases. Kimi is also a full IACP member. Kimi is our Bull Breed Specialist here at The Pet Experience. She has worked with many dogs but has a particular specialist skill set with 'bull breeds'. Kimi comes from a working dog background as her Dad used to breed and train border collies to be working sheepdogs. She has also owned and worked with horses her whole life and now enjoys helping out with her friends 3 lovely horses. Previously Kimi has also worked as an Animal Control Officer.

Stacie grew up with a variety of pets and has previously worked alongside vets. She has always had a passion for helping animals it was this passion that enabled her to achieve a Level 3 Diploma in Animal Management and Care. She qualified with The Pet Experience as a Dog Trainer and Behaviourist and has worked for Sarah for over 10 years. She is accredited as ‘Master Trainer’ with The Guild of Dog Trainers and is highly experienced running behaviour sessions, puppy sessions and classes. Stacie covers all SO postcode areas including but not limited to Winchester, Eastleigh and Southampton.

Leah Dear-Cockings

Trainee Dog Trainer

Leah has been working for The Pet Experience shadowing classes and one to one sessions for over a year. She currently holds a Level 3 Diploma in Animal Management and is currently working on her Honours Degree in Animal Behaviour, Welfare & Conservation. Alongside this Leah is completing her Dog Training Instructor & Behaviourist courses with The Pet Experience. Leah grew up with dogs that exhibited difficult behaviours and currently has a Staffie called Hank who is teaching her how to be a great trainer with his quirky ways meaning Leah has to think outside the box and keep him fulfilled and working. Due to Leah’s background she has a soft spot for large breeds and bull breeds. Leah also has an interest in other animals as well dogs including her snails and chinchillas. Leah often shadows Sarah and Kimi with both Puppy & Dog Behaviour Packages so you will most likely meet her when you book a session within our Dorset & Somerset area.
